CONCRETE GRINDING CONSUMABLES
In the flooring industry, grinding shoes and grinding wheels are tools used for surface preparation, smoothing, and polishing concrete or other hard floors.
Concrete grinding is the process of removing high points, contaminants, and loose material from a concrete surface using a grinding machine. When grinding concrete, the bond of the diamond shoes should normally be the opposite of the concrete — use a soft bond on hard concrete, and a hard bond on soft concrete. Use a larger diamond grit (lower number) for faster removal of concrete and for harder concrete.

A circular saw blade used for cutting through materials such as wood, metal, or plastic — designed for cutting into tight or hard-to-reach spaces.

7″ Grinding Wheels
A 7-inch diameter grinding wheel for the same range of surface preparation, smoothing, and finishing tasks as the 5″ wheel, suited to larger jobs.

Grinding Shoes
Replaceable attachments fixed to a floor grinder, with abrasive materials like diamond or carbide embedded — used for surface grinding, smoothing rough surfaces, levelling imperfections, or removing glue, paint or old sealers.
